FIX 'EM ELLIOT!
Tacto Electronics by PlayShifu is a phygital kit that encourages kids to learn the basics of electronics and components like building circuits, by using real figurines on the screen.
Fix 'Em Elliot is an educational game in this kit, that revolves around fixing broken and faulty appliances. Each level in this game consists of a machine that needs that needs to be repaired.

THE MOOD
The aim here was to create a sense of curiosity and magic in a world where no other human has ever existed.
By playing with lighting, opacity, and scaling up objects to an absurd height, the visuals added a whimsical appeal to the gameplay.

ART DIRECTION
The art style is vibrant, colorful, and appealing to young kids. It features a whimsical
& imaginative design, combined with cute characters, playful animations, and interactive elements.
Concept art for the game was done in three parts:
1. Character design of Elliot and the animals
2. Environment design for all the levels included
4 scenes
3. Designs for 20 appliances and cross-sections
STORYBOARDS
Storyboards for the game intro as well as for all levels were made in
two stages- for concept art and animation. This was used to keep
track of animations and VOs that would be worked on later.
USER FLOW
The user flow here is designed to ensure a seamless and intuitive experience for young players. With a clear and straightforward interface, players can easily navigate through levels, fix appliances, and access the required electronic components.
GAME UI
The game UI includes icons, popups, breadboard components, and figurine UI. The style features vibrant neon colors, glowing elements, and rounded icons, perfectly synced with the game's visual art.
